The idea here was pretty simple and literal. They wanted to leave earth at extreme speeds. At first, Doc and Olu wanted the earth to explode behind them but later settled on leaving the atmosphere for a better color palette.

I had fun working on this one because unlike most artist I deal with Olu went to school for graphic design so the concept was clear from the start. We set up inside the Spillage Village house where a lot of their previous music was recorded, and went through a couple different looks.

 

We used a leaf blower on Olu to really help exaggerate his expression and get the sense of G forces smacking him in the face.
